At Retreat, we are committed to helping you find the highest quality treatment for substance use in Lancaster County, Palm Beach County, and New Haven County.
Chemical dependency, especially over a long period of time, can permanently modify the way the brain functions, altering neurotransmitters and the way that they operate. As such, the potential for relapse is always there, and a comprehensive relapse prevention plan needs to be put into place during treatment to help those who suffer from addiction maintain their sobriety.
We take most major insurances allowing patients the opportunity to receive the care they deserve. With a strong emphasis on holistic substance use treatment in our PA and FL drug and alcohol rehab centers, we consider the individual needs of each patient and tailor rehabilitation programs accordingly.

Yes, our South Connecticut, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and Palm Beach, Florida facilities are all fully accredited by the Joint Commission for all levels of care. In addition, our Lancaster County Pennsylvania facility also holds accreditation through the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

We offer a wide range of drug and alcohol addiction treatment services, including detox, inpatient rehab, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient treatment services. Our standard programming includes coping skills, 12-step recovery, relapse prevention, and the rebuilding of relationships. Additionally, we offer more unique programming to assist in dealing with issues such as trauma, pain management, co-occurring disorders, and loss and grief. We have special programs designed specifically for medical professionals, first responders, impaired individuals, and other groups.
Our team of treatment professionals include licensed substance abuse therapists, mental health therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and a 24/7 nursing staff. This team is managed by a full-time ABAM-certified medical director. Our multi-disciplinary treatment approach helps to keep our patients fully engaged and focused on their recovery.
Structure and consistency are a vital part of Retreat’s programming. Every day at Retreat, patients begin by attending their small group with their designated primary therapist to process and discuss issues or challenges you are facing. Throughout the day, patients are provided meals and snacks prepared for you by our executive chef and culinary team. Each day you will participate in a therapeutic and educational track group that is individualized and specific to your treatment needs. You are also provided a choice of holistic therapies to choose from. Retreat offers many holistic therapy options such as art therapy, music therapy, recreational therapy, equine-assisted therapy, yoga, drumming, culinary classes and gardening. On top of these electives, you will have the option to receive one full hour massage from a certified massage therapist during your stay at Retreat. When not participating in scheduled groups you will have time to meet one on one with your therapist, work with other professionals on site, enjoy the amenities and grounds provided by Retreat, or take personal time to reflect, relax, and refuel in a safe and comforting environment.
We accept most commercial insurance plans at Retreat Behavioral Health. We recommend that you call us at 855-859-8808 and speak to someone from our admissions department to see if we take your specific plan.
